Rachel Montagu works as a Business Mentor London, Next Steps Mentor, employability mentor, and patron, for the Prince’s Trust in the UK. Supporting, mentoring young people who want to start their own business and helping them to transform their lives positively in the process.
INSEAD IDN Ambassador
Rachel Montagu is ambassador for the Nordics for INSEAD IDN (international Corporate governance programme). She is deeply engaged and interested in contributing to a better understanding and awareness of equal opportunties, fair compensation, ethics, diversity, good governance practices whilst educating nomination committees and stakeholders across private, corporate, family offices, Social impact investors & NGOs.
Among the business degrees and qualifications Rachel has amassed, she holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance (IDP-C) from INSEAD, a qualification the business school defines as "a global credential for board members operating internationals' for alumni of its International Directors Programme, providing evidence that they "understand the foundations of corporate governance" and attesting to their "commitment to continuously develop their effectiveness and excellence". She is also the programme's Ambassador Nordics, a role that involves giving twice-yearly dinners in private castles or Michelin- starred restaurants, which she organises and arranges sponsorship for. Speakers may include " professors or interesting global speakers, who will come and talk about corporate governance, or their own experience," she says. *It's not a commercial thing. It's about bringing busy people together to have active discussions on global corporate governance and the issues at hand. I really enjoy connecting people and the dinners are always quickly filled which is fun!"

Montagu is a supporter of the awareness of mental health issues, stress, psychological challenges and development. Montagu supports the work of Head Talks in bravely bringing the stories out there through digital media and corporate education.
